Summer Substitute for Municipal Cleaning Services

We are looking for two substitutes for the Cleaning Services department for the summer.

Who are we looking for?

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. We are looking for individuals who are meticulous and capable of working independently. You will be placed alone at the workplace, but permanent staff are available by phone for questions.

What does the job entail?

The work involves cleaning in several of the municipality's facilities. The positions are split into two areas with varying hours between full-time and part-time. Working days are Monday–Friday with flexible hours.

About the positions:

Substitute 1: Involves cleaning in two different areas where two different cleaners work. The areas include Åseborg (cleaning of common areas, offices, departmental cleaning, and external areas such as the town hall, municipal storage, water treatment plant, fire station, etc.) and another area. Training takes place during week 26 in both areas. Afterward, the work alternates between external areas and Åseborg during weeks 27–32.

Substitute 2: Involves cleaning at the Gym, Library, and Cultural House. Training takes place during week 27, and the work runs between weeks 28–31.

Both positions may vary in working hours, leaning towards part-time. Therefore, this is a great fit for young people who want to work and earn extra money while still enjoying their summer holiday.

Requirements and merits:

Experience in cleaning is not required as on-the-job training is provided. A driver's license is an advantage but not required, as the cleaning only covers facilities within the town center accessible by foot or bicycle.
