Sodexo Transport in Umeå is currently looking for summer substitutes for our train cleaning operations, with the possibility of continued hourly employment after the summer.

We are looking for you who thrive in a varied and sometimes challenging environment, and who want to work with train cleaning alongside us to contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant travel experience.

During the summer, there is an opportunity for increased working hours, and for the right person, the employment can transition into continued hourly employment afterwards.

To thrive in this role, you need to be meticulous, flexible, and able to handle situations that sometimes arise with short notice. This could involve changes in schedules or delayed trains. In such cases, it is important to think creatively and find the best solutions. You need to be able to work independently, but also have good teamwork skills.

We place great emphasis on a strong service mindset among our employees. For us, this means that in addition to performing your tasks, you can meet different people in a professional manner, are attentive to customers' needs, and can offer a smile even when the pace is fast.

The work can sometimes be physically demanding, so good physical fitness is an advantage.

What you will be working with:

• Cleaning and making beds on trains.
• Performing tasks in an ethical manner and in accordance with laws, collective agreements, company policies, guidelines, ethical principles, and values.
• Maintaining good relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Handling feedback and complaints quickly and meticulously.

To apply for the position, you must:

• Have completed basic and upper secondary education.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish – both spoken and written.
• Be meticulous, punctual, and flexible.
• Hold a Category B driver's license.
• Have good physical fitness as the cleaning profession can sometimes be physically demanding.

It is an extra advantage if you:

• Have experience in professional cleaning or another service profession.
• Have previous experience in hotel cleaning or professional bed-making.
• Have SRY, PRYL, or equivalent education.
