Kiviks Musteri is a Swedish family-owned business in its fifth generation, cultivating, processing, marketing, and selling products based on fruit, berries, and vegetables. Today, Kiviks Musteri has around 200 dedicated employees and generates a turnover of approximately 850 MSEK. Every year, our visitor destinations in Kivik and at Solnäs Gård outside Lund welcome a quarter of a million visitors who enjoy the environment, shop in our stores, and savor food and drinks in our café, bistro, and beautiful visitor garden.

We also have a store on Södermalm in Stockholm where visitors can shop and get a feel for our Österlen.

We are looking for a Baker/Pastry Chef for Solnäs Gård, our visitor destination outside Lund, for a 1-year fixed-term position.

About the role

As a Baker/Pastry Chef, you will work closely with colleagues in the Café and Shop at Solnäs Gård, baking everything from bread and buns to delightful pastries. You should be interested, open to new ideas, and thrive in a role where you help drive development regarding our product range.

The role includes:

  • Production of bread, buns, pastries, and confectionery products according to our recipes and seasonal offerings
  • Responsibility for maintaining order and good hygiene in the bakery and kitchen areas
  • Preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and light lunches
  • Preparing coffee and other beverages for café guests
  • Assisting with serving, dishwashing, and cash register duties as needed
  • Contributing to a positive work climate and ensuring guests have a pleasant experience.

Who are you?

We are looking for you with a great interest in food and drink. We place great emphasis on you being responsible, structured, and having good ability to collaborate and communicate with both colleagues and guests. You are stress-resistant, interested in development, and flexible. It is important that you have good planning skills and can work independently with your tasks.

For you, the importance of control programs and cleaning in a kitchen is obvious.

It is important that you enjoy working in a family-oriented corporate culture and are passionate about delivering wonderful experiences to our customers.

Employment assumes that you have a valid work permit and legal right to work in Sweden at the start of employment.

To succeed with us

We see that you are trained as a Baker or Pastry Chef with at least 1 year of experience in the profession. If you do not have formal education but have gained professional knowledge through work, we see that you have several years of experience (4 years or more) from jobs with similar tasks in a bakery or café or similar business.

You simply need to be a star at baking bread, buns, and wonderful pastries and enjoy an environment with many lovely customers!

You have a good ability to speak and write in Swedish and/or English.

The position

The position is a 100% fixed-term contract for approximately 1 year. Start date as agreed, preferably sometime in August.

We are open during the day, every day of the week. Working hours for this position are mainly Monday – Friday, but you will also work every 3rd weekend (having equivalent time off on weekdays before/after). Evening work may occur on isolated occasions, e.g., at events.
