We are looking for you who have worked as a baker or similar previously and want to work extra during the summer!

The role:

We are looking for you who have good experience in baking. If you have worked with pastry baking, you have a great advantage. You will mainly work with baking pastries from scratch according to an old and well-kept recipe where quality, precision, and craftsmanship are in focus. We are looking for you who have bakery experience, are an early riser, and enjoy working at a fast pace together with an engaged team.

You should be able to work independently and feel confident in your craft, with no problem learning new tasks on-site.

About the snack bar:

The snack bar in Ystad is located in Sandskogen by the sea. It is an old family-owned business with roots 70 years back in time where the same recipe for pastries is still baked by hand.

Both new and returning customers visit the snack bar during the summer, and approximately 500-800 pastries are baked per day.

There are good commuting options here as the bus from Ystad station stops about a 5-minute walk away. Perhaps you end your shift with a dip in the sea?

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience in a bakery or similar work
• Are precise and quality-conscious
• Have an interest in traditional craftsmanship
• Can work early mornings and long days during the summer season

You are creative, responsible, and self-motivated. You are inventive and full of ideas, aesthetically minded, and dare to take your own initiatives. We are looking for you who enjoy working with craftsmanship and have visions for the profession. We think it is important to have fun at work, so we see that you who apply are a happy and positive person. You find it easy to cooperate and understand the value of handcrafted baking.

Qualifications:

Trained or experienced baker or pastry chef. Previous experience with pastries. You are precise and never compromise on quality.

Employment type:

The place is open for 3 months during the summer. The position is a temporary contract, flexible to suit you, with varying working hours but you are not opposed to long days. Salary according to agreement. Start immediately. Possibility of extension during the summer.
