Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan (SV) is part of the Swedish adult education tradition. We create meeting places where people can grow, learn, and develop together. We offer courses, cultural events, and collaborations with associations, all aimed at contributing to a vibrant local community.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

We are looking for you who want to lead a silver smithing course for adults with varying levels of experience, from beginners to more advanced participants.

The assignment involves planning and conducting the course, introducing techniques, tools, and materials, as well as creating a safe and inspiring learning environment. The assignment also includes administration of planning and work plans according to the guidelines of adult education.

The role also includes facility responsibility with a focus on order, functionality, and safety in the workshop. You contribute to developing the facility, for example regarding tools, routines, and working methods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Relevant experience/knowledge

You have good knowledge of silver smithing and preferably experience in leading courses, study circles, or other educational activities.

Experience in planning, work plans, and administration within adult education or similar activities is meritorious, as is experience with relevant safety and facility issues.

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, and for this assignment, you must be able to lead courses in Swedish.

Personal qualities

You are pedagogical, responsible, receptive, and inspiring. You are also structured and have an interest in developing both the operations and the course environment.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

You receive recurring invitations to various types of further education and leader meetings where you get the chance to grow in your role. You get great freedom to shape the assignment according to your prerequisites and a fixed hourly wage.

START DATE

Start is preferably desired at the course start in September, but we also welcome applications from you who can start a bit later.
