NU Healthcare is part of the Region of Västra Götaland and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are approximately 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialized healthcare. Description

Our mission is to provide psychiatric specialized care to persons over 18 years of age with psychotic illness as well as persons with bipolar disorder.

Those who join us will come to a practice that has the patient in focus, with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are approximately 13 people at the clinic, and among us work psychologists, counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, care assistants, peer supporters, medical secretaries, and doctors.

Job Responsibilities

The main job responsibilities are psychotherapy and psychological treatment work of various characteristics and directions, as well as assessment and investigation work, including personality and neuropsychiatric issues. Interventions take place individually, in groups, and digitally. We work with continuous evaluation in the team of ongoing psychological treatments. The work takes place in close collaboration with other competencies in the team. Opportunity and access to supervision exist both regarding psychotherapy and neuropsychological investigations.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychologist.

Experience in adult psychiatric treatment and investigation work is desirable. Further education in psychological differential diagnostics and investigation methodology is meritorious. Specialist qualification, psychotherapy degree, and other training in special treatment methods such as CBT, PDT, or DBT are seen as a clear advantage. The most important thing is that you have an eclectic approach as we appreciate different perspectives both among psychologists and between professions.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

A driver's license is required for the position.
