Engaged and experienced teachers for grades 1-3 at Vittra Östertälje

Your role

We are currently offering 2 full-time positions for teaching in grades 1-3. The role also includes being a responsible pedagogue (mentor) for a class.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for the lower grades of primary school. We want you to be a clear leader with a focus on student goal achievement. We would like you to be a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. You also thrive in an environment characterized by courage and conscious learning; that is how we make a difference.

As a teacher at Vittra, you help shape conscious children and students by giving them the right tools and knowledge to create a more sustainable society.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for the lower grades, grades 1-3. You have a grade colleague with whom you collaborate and cooperate for the benefit of the students.

At Vittra, we strive for a cross-curricular working method that gives students a holistic view and understanding of how different subjects connect. At our school, you belong to a work team, so it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning.

We want to be at the forefront when it comes to digital aids for increased goal achievement, so it is an advantage if you are interested in and have experience using IT in your teaching, for example, Google Classroom and Google Apps for Education.

We value that you want to work in a team and contribute through the exchange of experience and competence to the collegial development in the work team and in the entire operation. We are looking for a pedagogue who shares our view of students: that all students want to do their best, and that it is our responsibility to give them the right conditions.

Other information

We are currently offering 2 positions. One is a permanent position at 100% with a 6-month probation period (provided you meet the School Act's requirements for qualification). The other is a parental leave substitute position at 100% for at least one year.
