Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is the region's specialist resource for children and young people with severe mental illness. Teamwork is a large and important part of our work. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry consists of approximately 200 employees with various professional backgrounds.

We are now looking for a physician for our entry clinic, which started about two years ago as a new unit within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Here, we handle acute visits and perform acute assessments. We also conduct new patient visits, make decisions regarding levels of care, and determine further interventions. The clinic also houses the advisory services for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

We are expanding the entry clinic by adding a physician. Depending on experience, background, and interest, the position can be tailored to meet the needs of both the physician and the operations. You will become an important part of a team where different professions work closely together to create the best possible care. As a physician at the entry clinic, you will play a key and central role in driving the development of child psychiatric work and the clinic forward, and we place great emphasis on interprofessional teamwork. We also have very good collegial cohesion within the physician group.

Your Responsibilities

The tasks will be shaped together with the manager and the team at the entry clinic. Examples of tasks include participation in visits requiring medical expertise, involvement in conferences, and investigative work.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry with experience in child psychiatry.

You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team where the physician's role naturally interacts with all the professions required for treating our most severe conditions. Through your personal maturity, you can handle various complex situations. It is important that you have good social competence and teamwork skills. Your holistic view helps you see the patient's needs from multiple perspectives, as well as from the perspective of the organization's best interests. You are flexible while remaining structured and organized in your tasks.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Innovative thinking and an interest in development work are important, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
