Your daily life as a Maintenance Technician - Strengthening Sweden's Total Defense

We are an engaged and tightly knit team consisting of nine maintenance technicians and a maintenance manager who together are responsible for the property portfolio in the Enköping garrison. Our mission includes operation, supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of the buildings within the district. We are now looking for two maintenance technicians who want to become part of the team and contribute to our important work.

Here you will find a complete infrastructure with our own high- and low-voltage networks as well as heating, water, and sewage networks. The position involves various operational assignments with responsibility for a number of facilities, shooting ranges, and buildings within the district featuring technical installations such as electricity, heating, fire alarms, ventilation, cooling, and water/sewage.

The focus in these roles is to be part of a small, closely knit team of three people, where you are responsible for related tasks in one of our larger buildings. You will work with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems and electrical installations, as well as corrective maintenance. Additional assignments and smaller construction and technical projects are also common, where you are expected to contribute.

The position includes daily customer and supplier contacts, both independent and collaborative assignments, as well as administrative work in several IT support systems. On-call duty may be included in the employment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an electrician and have experience working with the operation and maintenance of technical systems and buildings. You have good administrative skills and are proficient in using support systems. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A Class B driver's license is required.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked with building automation. It is also meritorious to have work experience where you have independently handled fault reports, operational optimization, and troubleshooting, as well as experience working with control and regulation technology.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. The location is Enköping. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class.
