Property Manager (Hard FM) at Vattenfall

Do you have experience in technical property management, property operations, or Facility Management? Do you want to work in a socially important business where you take responsibility for the operation, delivery, and development of property and service solutions? We are now looking for a Property Manager (Hard FM) for an exciting consultancy assignment at Vattenfall.

About the role

As a Property Manager, you will become part of Vattenfall's operations within Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM), where you will be responsible for the operation and delivery of technical management and property maintenance for a number of properties, facilities, and offices in the Mid-Sweden region.

The role involves operational responsibility to ensure that properties are managed efficiently, sustainably, and according to set quality goals. You will work closely with both the business operations and external suppliers, playing a central role in monitoring deliveries, budgets, and quality within your area of responsibility.

The location is in Uppsala, with collaboration and contact points with operations and colleagues in Solna, Östhammar, and Västerås, among others.

This assignment is part of our staffing service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Vattenfall.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

  • Be responsible for the daily property and service operations for assigned properties, facilities, and offices
  • Act as the contact person for operations at the operational level
  • Ensure that deliveries meet agreed quality, sustainability, and service levels
  • Develop and monitor the operating budget for technical management and property maintenance together with operational suppliers
  • Collaborate with and monitor suppliers within Hard FM services
  • Monitor key performance indicators, performance, and product and service quality within existing contracts
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the operational development of the business
  • Ensure good information dissemination and communication between relevant parties
  • Handle administrative tasks related to operations, monitoring, and management
  • Contribute to a well-functioning team with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in technical property management, property operations, Facility Management, or similar activities
  • Has experience working with external suppliers and monitoring service deliveries
  • Has a good understanding of the technical systems, operation, and maintenance of properties
  • Has experience with budgeting, monitoring, or financial control within property operations
  • Has strong administrative skills and a structured work approach
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Is computer literate and has experience with administrative systems
  • Hold a valid B-driver's license

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from larger organizations or complex property portfolios
  • Experience working in the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience with Facility Management deliveries and supplier management
  • Knowledge of sustainability work related to properties and operations
  • Experience with contract monitoring, KPIs, or other performance metrics

Personal qualities

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a responsible and solution-oriented person who thrives with many contact points. You have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships with colleagues, operations, and external suppliers.

Furthermore, you are structured, communicative, and used to driving your work forward independently. You have a strong focus on quality and service while having the ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues in parallel.

Practical Information

Start: As soon as possible, with a realistic start after Midsummer or from the beginning of July 2026

Scope: Full-time

Assignment period: Until December 31, 2026

Location: Uppsala
