We are now looking for a Pipeline Network Technician to join our team in Östhammar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an exciting and responsible role where you, together with your colleagues, work with maintenance, improvements, and emergency measures for the water, wastewater, and stormwater pipeline network. You will be part of a flexible work team with various tasks, including supervision, troubleshooting, repairs, and handling customer inquiries. In your work, you also have a coordinating role, working together with contractors and colleagues to ensure the pipeline network functions optimally. Administrative tasks are also part of the role, such as documenting operational and map data.

Right now, a lot is happening at Gästrike Vatten as we invest in new facilities and expand and upgrade the water and wastewater network. This presents an opportunity for you to develop your skills and competence, for example in smaller projects and construction supervision, as the company grows.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have post-secondary education within water and wastewater management, for example in pipeline network technology, or equivalent education/experience that we assess as comparable. You may have experience from the construction industry or within maintenance, for example from the process industry. We value that you have worked in a role with customer contact, as the role of Pipeline Network Technician involves close collaboration with customers.

A manual Class B driver's license is required.

We prefer that you have experience working with customer management systems, order systems, and/or Office programs.

As a person, you enjoy having significant personal responsibility and are meticulous and quality-conscious in how you carry out your tasks. You are solution-oriented, proactive, and value collaboration with both colleagues and customers.
