Dellner Dampers AB in Flen is part of Dellner Couplers AB and became part of the Wabtec group and their Transit division in February 2026.
The recruitment is a collaboration with Jefferson Wells, but you will be directly employed by Dellner. Please note that the advertisement is visible across Stockholm for increased visibility, but the location is only in Flen.
We are now looking for a Head of Dampers / Business Area Manager who will develop the business into a commercially driven and integrated business area. You will further develop the business in dampers for the train segment and simultaneously drive growth through synergies within the Wabtec group as well as other industrial customers outside the group. www.wabteccorp.com (https://www.wabteccorp.com)
About the role
You have full responsibility for sales, results, and the further development of the Dampers product line, with a turnover of 120 MSEK. The role combines business leadership with responsibility for production, customer relations, and organization in a company with clear growth ambitions.
You have full P&L responsibility for the Dampers business area and drive it independently, where sales, profitability, strategy, and operational excellence go hand in hand.
You also have overall responsibility for our entire technology & production site with approximately 60 employees. An important part of the role is to lead and develop the sales team consisting of four Key Account Managers and a sales engineer on an international market, as well as to maintain close dialogue with Dellner Couplers' global organization and sales organization.
The role involves a clear change and integration journey, where you:
- Professionalize working methods and structures
- Strengthen business focus and market presence
- Shape the strategy for Dampers' continued development
- Create engagement and direction in the organization
You combine strategic height with operational presence - and are equally comfortable in management discussions as out in the operations.
Your assignment
- Full business, result, and sales responsibility for the Dampers product line
- Lead and develop the sales organization and drive growth in close dialogue with the market
- Set direction, strategy, and business plan for Dampers
- Ensure structure, processes, quality, and working environment
- Be an active party in the dialogue with Dellner Couplers' sales organization and other relevant functions for the group
- Develop leadership, culture, and engagement and lead the management group

Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who are commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and secure in the leadership role. You are motivated by driving business development and building relationships at different levels, both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.
You have the ability to switch between a helicopter perspective and details, between strategy and execution. You are clear, receptive, and have the courage to make decisions - even when all conditions are not completely given.
Your location is in Flen where Dellner Dampers has its operations, and you report to VP Couplers Group Fredric Håkansson.
Your background
- Experience from manufacturing industry, preferably in a senior management role with broad business responsibility
- Documented experience of sales responsibility and P&L
- Experience of leading managers and specialists, at least 10 years
- Strong commercial acumen combined with technical understanding
- Very good communication skills, professional level in Swedish and English in speech and writing
An academic degree is meritorious but not a requirement - leadership, business understanding, and industrial experience are decisive together with strategic height.
