Compary is looking for a Norwegian Website & Content Manager for their office in Gothenburg. You will be responsible for developing, improving, and optimizing Norwegian websites within consumer finance, focusing on SEO, content, traffic, and conversion. This role is perfect for someone who writes excellent Norwegian, enjoys digital marketing, and wants to use both AI, data, and their own judgment to create better results.

Compary is an international affiliate marketing company based in Gothenburg. We develop and operate comparison and content websites within areas such as consumer finance and sports betting, with operations in over 20 markets globally.

The company was founded by Andreas and David while they were studying, and has grown from a hobby project into a profitable company with around 25 employees. The team includes specialists in SEO, content, performance marketing, development, and partnerships.

We are located in a modern office in central Gothenburg, near Stenpiren and the Göta River. Here we work together several days a week, while maintaining flexibility in our daily routines.

About the role

We are looking for a Website & Content Manager who can take responsibility for our Norwegian websites, with a main focus on consumer finance.

You will work with content, SEO, website structure, conversion, and ongoing improvements. The goal is to make the websites more relevant, visible, and useful for Norwegian users – while simultaneously contributing to increased traffic and better commercial results.

This is a practical and broad role. You will both write and edit content, analyze results, work in WordPress, collaborate with SEO and performance specialists, and use AI tools to work smarter.

AI is a natural part of how we work, but the quality must still come from you. You need good language sense, the ability to assess sources, understand the user, and make the content relevant, correct, and credible for the Norwegian market.

What you will work with

  • Write, edit, and optimize content for Norwegian websites
  • Improve existing pages based on SEO, user needs, and conversion
  • Work in WordPress with publishing, structure, and ongoing updates
  • Conduct keyword analysis and use SEO tools to find new opportunities
  • Monitor traffic, rankings, conversions, and content results
  • Use AI tools for research, idea development, structure, drafts, and efficiency
  • Quality assure content so that it meets high linguistic and professional standards
  • Closely collaborate with colleagues in SEO, paid media, development, and partnerships
  • Test new formats, angles, and working methods to create better results

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and strong in the Norwegian language. You do not need extensive experience, but you must have the desire to learn quickly and take responsibility.

We believe that you:

  • Have Norwegian as a native language or write Norwegian at a very high level
  • Have an interest in SEO, content marketing, and digital growth
  • Are comfortable writing, editing, and improving content yourself
  • Have experience with or a strong interest in WordPress, SEO tools, and analytics
  • Understand how good content can create both traffic and conversion
  • Use AI tools smartly, without losing quality, tone, and precision
  • Are structured, self-driven, and like taking ownership of your own projects
  • Have a problem-solving attitude and enjoy testing, learning, and improving

Experience from finance, affiliate marketing, or iGaming is a plus, but not a requirement.

This role might not be a good fit if

  • You do not like writing, editing, and working practically with content
  • You want a role where you only coordinate others
  • You are not comfortable working data-driven against traffic, SEO, and conversion
  • You rely too much on AI without using your own judgment and language quality
