About the role

Alm Psychiatry is looking for a colleague with medical competence. We also welcome resident doctors (underläkare) who have completed term 10. The position is adapted to the applicant's prerequisites and wishes, with options for remote work and/or work at our clinics in Halmstad. As a doctor, you will work clinically as support to the clinic's specialist physicians. Your tasks involve assessment and treatment work. We operate with an efficient and highly structured care process that creates room for individual adaptation according to clinical needs.

In this recruitment, we are also open to applications from candidates seeking part-time employment.

About Alm Psychiatry

Alm Psychiatry operates within adult psychiatric outpatient care with broad competence. The company was established in 2018 and has been running an adult psychiatric outpatient clinic in Halmstad on behalf of Region Halland since 2022.

Our physical clinic is located in central Halmstad, and we work with a naturally integrated physical and digital care model. As a healthcare provider, our work is characterized by freedom and flexibility, both internally and in our meetings with patients. The majority of our clinical work consists of investigation and treatment of neuropsychiatric diagnoses, depression, and bipolar disorder. Patients with substance abuse issues are not part of the clinic's mandate.

Care processes at Alm Psychiatry are clearly structured and based on national guidelines for each diagnosis. In clinical work, there are guidelines that safeguard patient safety while creating room for individually adapted care. We actively and continuously work on recruiting clinical staff and developing our working methods to prevent staffing shortages and associated risks.

Among our staff are doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, contact persons, and care administrators.

We work systematically to create a sustainable and enjoyable working life for all employees. Our organization is characterized by minimal administration, few meetings, clear routines, and predictability, where employees plan their work under their own responsibility. The number of patient visits is always predefined, with approximately 60% of working time consisting of active patient work. This provides good opportunities to plan working hours, vacation, and other leave in a way that suits your personal life situation.

At Alm Psychiatry clinics, we strive to create a low-stimulation environment to facilitate work focus, reduce stress, and promote well-being. As an employee, you have access to offices and the technical systems needed for work. Employees at Alm Psychiatry are not subject to restrictions on side jobs beyond our basic ethical guidelines.

We strive for a functional balance between digital and physical care meetings, based on the needs of the patient group. Work is generally scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but employees can choose to schedule parts of their work for evenings and weekends if desired.
