About the position

For our client, Perido is now seeking archivists with two different profiles: one with four years of experience and one with ten years of experience. The client is a government agency in Stockholm that now needs support for a larger delivery project.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for experienced archivists for a large delivery project within public operations, focusing on the handling of both analog and selected digital records of preservation value. In this role, you work closely with the operations and support the work of structuring, quality assuring, and preparing archival material for delivery to the archives authority. You contribute with your expertise by guiding, coordinating, and, if necessary, participating operationally in the archival work yourself.

Tasks:

• Support and guide in the inventory, arrangement, and listing of records
• Coordinate and lead the work together with archive responsible functions
• Prepare material for delivery to the archives authority
• Provide training and support in archive management when needed
• Contribute practically to archival work in operations that need extra support
• Ensure that the work follows current guidelines and requirements for archiving

You are self-motivated and take responsibility for your tasks, while also having good collaboration skills and enjoying supporting and guiding others. Furthermore, you are communicative and pedagogical, which allows you to clearly convey methods and routines to different operations. Flexibility and problem-solving skills are also important qualities, as the assignment may vary and require adaptation to different needs.

Qualifications Profile 1:

• Completed university/college education in archival science with at least 4 years of work experience in Sweden
• Archivists with documented experience in arrangement and listing work according to the general archive scheme
• Outgoing and have a pedagogical approach in contact with operations as these may need more in-depth guidance in the work with the delivery project
• Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish

Qualifications Profile 2:

• University-educated in archival science and have at least 10 years of work experience
• Experienced in arranging and listing according to VIR as well as inventory and analysis of all information, both analog and digital
• Follow retention/disposal plans and prepare materials for consultation
• Experience in analysis and investigation work and have experience in operation-based archival management
• Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish

Scope and start date

Full time, consulting assignment until 2027-12-21. Start before summer.
