Job Description
At our primary care centres, we work in multi-professional teams to provide the best healthcare for our patients. By having close collaboration between different professions, we can give high-quality care and at the same time contribute to skill development for all employees.
Working as a General Practitioner in Sweden requires knowledge of diagnostics and treatment of health problems in all ages. Training and supervision of medical students at all education levels, from undergraduate to specialist training, and with students in other healthcare professions, is an important task for our senior specialists. Swedish primary health care applies knowledge-based care, which requires continuous ability development, where methods shown to be less effective are replaced with better ones.
An important part of the General Practitioner's work is systematic quality development and self-training based on operational requirements.
