We at Orkla Foods FoodSolutions are one of the leading producers of food products for the restaurant and institutional catering sectors in the Nordics. We develop products, concepts, and solutions that simplify daily life in large kitchens and help our customers create great dining experiences.

We are now looking for a Portfolio Manager where you will play a key role in developing and driving a product portfolio with a focus on quality, growth, and profitability. You will work strategically and insight-driven – close to both internal teams and external partners – and help shape the future offerings within FoodSolutions.

About the Role

In the role of Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for driving and developing your product portfolio according to category strategies so that set growth and profitability goals are met. You work with categories from a strategic perspective, based on insights into the market, customers, and competition. Here, you become part of one of Sweden's largest food producers. You will have the opportunity to work with:

• Develop short- and long-term category and portfolio plans based on our strategic portfolio management model.
• Gather, analyze, and translate insights into clear initiatives that develop the category.
• Have overall responsibility for growth and profitability within your categories.
• Conduct assortment analyses and work continuously on assortment maintenance.
• Initiate and drive portfolio development: new product launches, relaunches, cost-saving initiatives, and product phase-outs.
• Work cross-functionally within the company with your own categories in relevant forums and meetings.
• Be responsible for packaging design and drive work related to product updates during launches and changes.
• Drive smaller projects independently and actively contribute to FoodSolutions' overall goals.

Profile

We are looking for someone who is both strategic and analytical, and who enjoys driving things forward together with others. Experience from Foodservice, FMCG, and/or the food industry is an advantage. Furthermore, we see that you have:

• Understanding of the FoodSolutions market.
• Experience in category development.
• Experience in marketing work.
• An academic degree (e.g., in Business Administration) or equivalent.
• Good business acumen (understanding how value is created and how costs arise).
• Ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing (Swedish and English).
