Job Description

We are looking for part-time and extra staff for Craft n' Draft at Kulturens Hus in Luleå. We are looking for you who want to work extra with us at Craft n’ Draft and Cornelius Coffee in Kulturens Hus. We are looking for you who are proactive and service-oriented and want to work within the café, restaurant, bar, and kitchen. Please state your interests in your application.

About the role

The tasks involve common duties within restaurants, bars, and cafés, such as customer service, sales, table service, bar work, dishwashing, cleaning, restocking, and simple production of sandwiches, salads, pastries, and hot meals.

Your profile

As a person, you are cheerful, meticulous, service-minded, and enjoy selling. You are capable of working both independently and in a team. You enjoy working with people and thrive in a restaurant environment, providing service to both guests and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you are accustomed to working at a varied pace and have a focus on service and sales. You are someone who takes initiative and takes personal responsibility for your tasks. You have good teamwork skills, and communicating with guests, colleagues, and managers is no problem for you. Furthermore, tidiness and order are second nature to you. The work is physically demanding, and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, such as communication skills and the ability to take personal responsibility.

Requirements

• You speak and read Swedish fluently.
• You are at least 20 years old as we serve alcohol, and you may be required to act as the person responsible for service (according to the Alcohol Act 2010:1622, Chapter 8, Section 18 on Personnel).
• In your application, you must state your citizenship and be able to produce a passport proving your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.

Other information

Previous experience in service within restaurants, cafés, retail, or hotels is considered an asset.

Our opening hours follow the various events at Kulturens Hus, which means varying working hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends (Opening hours approx. 07:00–01:30).
