Just a kitchen, you might think.
But at Nobia, we know it’s about something much bigger!
Behind every kitchen lies not just design and form, but a stable and well-thought-out production where technology, processes, and people work together. At Tidaholm Wood Center – an important part of Nobia’s value chain – components and painted details are manufactured with high precision and quality. With over 100 years of experience and approximately 100 employees, we are a stable and engaged player in the Swedish wood industry.
Enabling this requires strong project management and clear technical overall responsibility – and that is where you come in, as a Technical Project Manager.
Your role with us
As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for driving projects related to the industrialization, change, and phase-out of products within Nobia’s total product range. You work closely with production technology and production to ensure an efficient, stable, and robust product flow through the factory.
In the role of Technical Project Manager, you will among other things:
Own and drive implementation projects related to new and existing products
Drive relaunch projects from the concept phase to manufacturing
Be responsible for design changes on existing articles
Lead and drive phase-out projects
Drive projects related to changes, improvements, and updates in the factory
Be responsible for administering, creating, and maintaining the factory’s design drawings and layouts.
Organizationally, you belong to Technology and Maintenance and will report to the Technical Manager. Collaboration will be close with the rest of production, such as planning, quality, logistics, as well as central functions within Nobia working on the development of our products.
Where we are right now
Tidaholm Wood Center is in a clear development phase where both the factory, work methods, and production setup continue to improve and become more efficient. Here, you will have a central role in turning strategy into practice and ensuring that changes are implemented in a structured and sustainable way.
You will have the opportunity to influence how projects are driven, how production develops, and how technology and flows are shaped forward – in close interaction with the business.
Location and work format
The location is Tidaholm Wood Center in Tidaholm, and the position is primarily based on-site at the factory, although some hybrid work may be possible when the business allows. Travel may occur to a limited extent.
What you need to succeed in the role
We believe you have a post-secondary technical education, or equivalent experience acquired through work. Requirements for the role are at least 5 years of experience in operational production-related activities, as well as experience from project management, including budget and resource planning.
Furthermore, we see that you have:
Experience in production technology and production logistics
Experience with CAD programs, such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
Fluent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English
Experience from the wood industry or similar manufacturing operations is meritorious.
This role is for you if… …you thrive with collaboration, responsibility, and clear progress, and are motivated by seeing results in the business.
You are structured, proactive, and solution-oriented
You take initiative and get things done
You have natural leadership without formal personnel responsibility
You engage others, create clarity, and follow up on work and decisions
Has Tidaholm Wood Center and Nobia caught your interest?
Then we want your application today! The last day for applications is May 31, but selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the deadline. Our recruitment process is competency-based and structured, where we assess your skills, experience, and attributes in relation to both the role and Nobia. To increase accuracy and ensure you have the best conditions to thrive and succeed with us, tests are also conducted.
According to EU Directive (2009/52/EG), we as employers must be able to demonstrate our employees' right to work within the EU. Therefore, upon employment with us, you must be able to demonstrate your right to work within the EU through citizenship (e.g., passport) or your work permit.
