About the role

As a Workforce Planner within Workforce Management, you are responsible for the long-term planning and forecasting of our staffing – both internally and in dialogue with our clients. You ensure that we have the right resources in place at the right time and continuously work on analyzing outcomes and driving improvements to meet our agreed SLAs.

You have overall responsibility for the planning chain – from forecast to the final schedule for the employee – and serve as a key link between WFM (Workforce Management) and Operations. In your planning, you continuously weigh service levels, efficiency, and cost to ensure a sustainable and business-oriented delivery.

In this role, you may work across multiple countries, including Sweden, Norway, and Finland, which involves collaboration with various stakeholders and provides a varied and developmental workday.

The position is based in Linköping, where we primarily work from the office, with the possibility of hybrid work.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and follow up on forecasts (short- and long-term) together with clients.
  • Create and optimize schedules in ProScheduler based on forecasts and business needs.
  • Analyze outcomes, identify deviations, and develop improvement proposals.
  • Ensure balanced staffing based on SLAs, quality, and profitability.
  • Support Operations through analysis and decision-making materials.
  • Maintain ongoing and close dialogue with both internal teams and customers.
  • Handle cases in Jira related to scheduling, e.g., new hires, changes, and absence.
  • Actively work with the entire planning flow – from strategy to operational delivery.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have strong analytical thinking and are driven by working with numbers, forecasts, and optimization. You are self-initiating, take responsibility, and thrive in a dynamic environment where much happens and where you have many contact points.

  • Have good analytical skills and enjoy working in a data-driven manner.
  • Are communicative and confident in dialogue with both colleagues and customers.
  • Enjoy making your own decisions and driving your work forward.
  • Have experience in workforce planning, coordination, or another role where you have worked with resource allocation.
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
  • Have good system and data competence.
  • Have worked in ProScheduler or similar planning tools (meritorious).
  • Have knowledge of Finnish or Norwegian (meritorious).
