Description

Slussen is a rehabilitation and housing assessment unit. As a nursing assistant at Slussen's short-term accommodation, you contribute to helping guests improve or maintain their skills and abilities through daily life rehabilitation, enabling them to live as independently as possible with a good quality of life upon returning home. The work requires an interest in care, training/activity, and respectful interaction, ensuring that each individual achieves the goals set in their individual plan. The position is for 75–100 %.

Responsibilities

As an employee at Slussen, you work in a person-centered manner, meaning you always base your actions on the guest's own abilities, needs, and conditions in all aspects of care and support. As a nursing assistant at Slussen, you will have a meaningful and developmental job in a secure, multi-professional team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. We believe that you who are interested in good care and collaboration will thrive with us. Your duties include, among other things, social documentation and delegated tasks from nurses, such as medication management. Your introduction is tailored to your individual needs, where you receive all necessary training so that you and your colleagues can achieve the organization's goals together.

You have a good attitude towards people and understand that relatives of our guests are an important resource for the individual. We want you as an employee to contribute to the organization's good work environment through your engagement and willingness to be part of the team. Therefore, we place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

• The position is for 75–100 % and working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the roster.
• Resource shifts are included as part of the schedule.
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) is required prior to employment.
