We are looking for a senior System Developer with experience in embedded systems and vehicle platforms, for a consultancy assignment within the automotive industry. This is a full-time role starting May 2026 until May 2027.

You will play a key role in supporting vehicle software and functional changes early in the development flow, from idea to agreed solution. By coordinating stakeholders, analysing system impacts and defining clear system concepts, you will contribute to stable and scalable vehicle platform solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Support vehicle software and functional changes from idea to agreed solution
• Work closely with internal customers, system owners and impacted stakeholders
• Facilitate discussions regarding system changes, impacts and dependencies
• Create and communicate system concepts, interfaces and technical principles
• Document agreed solutions in architecture and development toolchains
• Support alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to a flow-oriented way of working and good engineering practices
• Coordinate cross-functional activities related to vehicle systems and embedded software

About you:

Requirements:

• Solid experience within function development, system development or system ownership
• Experience working with embedded systems in an automotive or vehicle-related environment
• Understanding of vehicle/platform complexity and system dependencies
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English

Skills:

• Experience from automotive embedded software development
• Understanding of system architecture and vehicle communication
• Knowledge of CAN and/or Ethernet
• Experience working in continuous delivery or change processes for embedded software
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly and practically
