ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with approximately 70 employees.

We work tirelessly to be Skövde's best grocery store, for you who want to live a little better.

We have now completed our store renovation and are ready to take the next step towards becoming Skaraborg's most modern grocery store, focusing on food and meal solutions.

As the Area Manager, you will be involved in and steer the area of manual sales, including delicatessen and fish.

The kitchen organization consists of area managers for Manual Sales, Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, and Urban Bistro.

As the Manual Sales Manager, you will report to the Sales Manager Fresh Goods Sales & Sales Manager Operations Fresh Goods.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for manual sales regarding operations, purchasing, inspiration, and the customer journey in manual sales, in consultation with the Sales Manager Fresh Goods Sales.
  • You will assist the Sales Manager Fresh Goods Sales in meeting the department's budget regarding profitability and shrinkage.
  • You will help the entire production team prioritize and facilitate production for the manual counters in an engaging manner.
  • Be responsible for and contribute to maintaining sales pressure in the department, sales planning, and varying the assortment according to season and plan.
  • Be involved in self-control and date control, and ensure compliance.
  • Be driving in the development of the assortment and inspire customers with new products and seasonal offerings for fish, delicatessen, and food.
  • The most important part of the role is that you must love customer contact, be the face of the store, be curious/inspired by the customer, and always want to make the customer happy in all situations. You should have customer service at your fingertips.

An important part of the job is working with efficiency and structure in the manual sales department and the warehouse, contributing high energy to the kitchen team, and having a good sense of order.

The role is divided approximately 90% manual sales and production, and 10% administrative.

You are a person with initiative and strong positive energy. You should be a role model. It is important to see the customer's needs and gladly provide the best customer treatment. You must be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the big picture in your work.

You should be outgoing, structured, and have a good sense of order, enjoy development, be engaged, focus on sales, operations, and create good profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Experience from a leading position in the restaurant industry or grocery retail.
  • Good knowledge of store economics/business economics.
  • Are structured and have good quality awareness.

The position is a 90% position. We offer a permanent employment with an initial probation period of 6 months.

The start date is immediate or as agreed.

Salary according to agreement.
