Mechanical Design Engineer – Senior (Fixture & Tooling)

About the Role

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for manufacturing equipment, primarily focusing on fixtures for assembly environments.
• Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver efficient solutions.
• Utilize CATIA V5 and ENOVIA (PLM) for CAD modeling and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Initial work is primarily conducted on-site in a factory setting.

Requirements

• Solid experience in mechanical design, preferably within manufacturing or production.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and PLM systems (ENOVIA is preferred).
• Proven ability to design fixtures or production equipment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience from the automotive or heavy industry sectors.
• Specific experience in fixture design for assembly lines.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
