At Karolinska Institutet in Solna, Nordrest operates two restaurants, three cafés, and provides catering services across the entire Campus Solna area, as well as serving food for conferences at Aula Medica, Bio Medicum, and Nobel Forum.

About the role

We are now looking for an experienced cook/chef de partie who wants to be part of our dedicated team!

Do you have a passion for food, a sense for quality, and at least three years of kitchen experience?

Then you might be the one we are looking for!

For the right person, there are great opportunities for development here! We are looking for you who have a burning interest in cooking and enjoy working with ingredients that make a menu appealing. A cheerful personality with a touch of entrepreneurship fits this job like hollandaise sauce on asparagus.

Who is our new dream colleague?

You are a cheerful person with experience in the culinary and service professions, accustomed to building good relationships and contacts with guests. As a person, you are responsible, ambitious, and respectful towards your surroundings.

We want you to have:

• A 3-year upper secondary culinary education or equivalent

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Does it sound like you? Great! If you also meet the following criteria, we really must have a coffee:

• Previous work experience as a cook

• A solid interest and preferably knowledge and experience in sustainability work, as the restaurant is both environmental and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
