About Connecting Stockholm
As the operator of the Stockholm Metro, we run a vital public service where safety, accessibility, and punctuality are at the core. We combine experience with innovation to create a metro system that is safe today and sustainable for the future.
Our mission is about more than just traffic – it is about people, responsibility, and trust. At our company, culture is a key part of our mission. We believe in the power of collaboration, in relationships that build trust, and in leadership characterized by professionalism, heart, and engagement.

About the role
As Planning Manager at Connecting Stockholm, you will have overall responsibility for strategic resource and traffic planning, as well as schedule and service planning, with significant impact on the organization's costs and results. You are responsible for ensuring that the planning of staff and traffic is efficient, managed, coordinated, and monitored so that assignments, goals, and requirements are met. The role covers both strategic and operational parts of the planning chain, including resource planning, scheduling, and the development of efficient processes that support the entire organization's needs.
You create the conditions for efficient, long-term sustainable, and quality-assured planning processes and ensure that the organization has correct and well-founded data for decisions regarding staffing and management. The planning function belongs to the Planning & Projects department, where the work is characterized by the historically large expansion of the metro currently underway. Therefore, you will play a key role in driving strategic issues, change management, and quality improvements in close collaboration with both internal functions and the Transport Administration.
The role suits you if you want to combine leadership with analysis, structure, and a development focus, and if you appreciate working in an organization where public benefit, safety, and quality are central.

- Monitor goals, key performance indicators, risks, and deviations, and analyze trends and needs to ensure quality.
- Coordinate the interfaces of planning and collaborate with the Transport Administration and internal functions.
Qualifications
- University degree at master's level in a relevant field, such as urban planning, logistics, transport planning, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience leading teams within planning, traffic operations, business development, or analysis.
- Experience in developing working methods, processes, and structures, as well as follow-up and improvement work.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- As a person, you are strategic, communicative, and relationship-building.
Meritorious qualifications
- Experience working in larger organizations or operations with systematic quality and process management.
