About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist in daily cooking, prepare ingredients, handle dishwashing and cleaning duties, and ensure that work surfaces and equipment are kept clean and in good condition. You will contribute to food presentation, portioning, and packing, as well as assist with orders and receiving goods. The work may involve busy periods and requires flexibility regarding working hours, although the majority of the work is scheduled during daytime hours.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience from kitchens, restaurants, or commercial kitchens, or someone who wants to learn the trade and work practically. You are detail-oriented, service-minded, and thrive in a team environment. Good hygiene habits and the ability to follow cooking and safety routines are important. You must communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or catering
• Education in kitchen/restaurant operations or food hygiene
• Knowledge of special diets (allergies, vegetarian, vegan)
• Ability to work structured under time pressure
