The role of cook with us

As a cook with us, you will work together with your colleagues to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as perform other common kitchen tasks. You will become part of a team of nine people, jointly responsible for preparing and serving delicious, safe, and nutritious meals for children and young people every day.

Here, we work with the Cook Chill method and prepare meals for students and educators at the school, as well as delivering meals to other schools and preschools in the municipality. We also collaborate with nearby food service operations, which means working in other kitchens within the municipality may occur when needed.

Your profile

You are a person who values collaboration and is a true team player. With a genuine interest in cooking and everything related to food and meals, you contribute enthusiasm and a passion for food to the daily work. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are flexible, and have a positive energy that spreads to the work group, fostering a good sense of community. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained cook.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience from the restaurant industry in private and/or public operations.

Our offer and other information

We offer a fixed-term full-time position starting August 17, 2026, subject to agreement. The employment period extends until August 17, 2027.
