About Falkungen

Falkungen Preschool is a parent cooperative that has been operating in Falkenberg for over 30 years. In our activities, we strive for joy, security, and development, and attitude is important to us. We believe in the competent child and children's participation, which shapes our projects and learning environments.

We are a two-unit preschool with age-separated units located in Hjortsberg. The proximity to the sea, forest, and city gives us excellent opportunities to conduct pedagogical activities in our immediate surroundings.

About the Job

As a Kitchen Assistant/Pedagogue, you are responsible for the preparation and cleanup for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We have a receiving kitchen and receive our meals delivered from Ekholmen. The role also includes some cleaning and work with the children.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who wants a varied job combining kitchen duties and work with children.

You are:

• Positive, responsible, and engaged
• Able to handle stress
• A good team player but also capable of working independently
• Committed to building trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

We are a small team and place great emphasis on personal suitability. Previous experience in preschool is meritorious.

About the Employment

• 80% fixed-term employment until 2030-06-30
• Salary according to collective agreement
