About Us

Humla HVB is a residential home for parents with children up to 16 years old, as well as pregnant women. People can come to us if there is a need for more intensive family treatment or assessment of parental capacity. We work with issues related to care, attachment, violence, addictions, trauma, or neuropsychiatric difficulties. We work for the safety of each family, where every child should get the best conditions to grow up in a safe, stable, and caring environment.

About the Role

The work involves meeting parents and children, often in crisis and/or with a difficult life situation. It is important that you can see opportunities yourself, convey hope, and meet people in a respectful and safe manner.

Your main tasks include:

• Practical everyday support for both parents and children
• Participation in assessment and/or treatment work
• Documentation
• Treatment and assessment planning based on care plans and implementation plans

We work with evidence-based methods, primarily clarifying pedagogy.

The position is a summer temporary position and/or hourly temporary position. The work takes place during daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends, with 24-hour duty including sleeping on-call shifts. Salary is agreed upon, and other benefits are according to the collective agreement. Start date is by agreement.

Who are you?

As a person, it is important that you can work independently and under your own responsibility, have good relationship-building skills, and be flexible and secure. You are solution-focused and driven in your role, radiating trust. It is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when necessary. The work involves close and trusting cooperation with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be required upon employment.

It is meritorious if you:

• Are educated as a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have experience working with people in vulnerable situations.
• Have experience in treatment work.
• Have experience working with parents and children.
• Have a good ability to build trusting relationships with guardians/other adults while being able to set clear boundaries and stand firm in your assignment.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Have a good ability to work with low affective intensity.
• Have knowledge of documentation and record keeping.
• Have a B-class driver's license.
