Are you a "hands-on" Salesforce expert looking to take technical ownership and build for the long term? Here you have the opportunity to combine development and maintenance with strategic architecture in a role where your decisions make a real difference. If you are pragmatic, service-oriented, and want to become part of a growing EdTech company – apply now!

About the role

As a Salesforce Developer & Administrator, you will have a unique opportunity to take technical ownership of the platform at a growing SaaS company within the EdTech sector. Your clear mission is to help teachers succeed so that students can learn and continue to grow. The company has grown steadily since 2015 without external capital, giving you the freedom to build for the long term.

Here you will become a crucial part of the team and work "Salesforce-first". You will work directly in the platform with configuration, automation, and development to ensure that the CRM system supports the sales, marketing, and support teams in the best possible way. A key part of the role is to take the system from "functional" to well-designed and scalable. Additionally, if capacity allows, you will help maintain the stability of the data platform (Databricks/SQL) that feeds the analytics tools.

You will join an office in Danderyd, north of Stockholm, and become part of a driven team of over 50 people (split across two offices, with approximately 30 in Danderyd) with backgrounds from companies like Spotify, eBay, and Google. The culture is characterized by genuineness, fair play, and a desire to build for the future. Here you get great freedom, personal responsibility, and access to external support when needed.

What we offer

  • Impact - a key role where you strengthen the backbone of the commercial systems with a real effect on the entire company
  • Ownership - the opportunity to design and evolve the Salesforce environment with a focus on quality and sustainability
  • Culture - a secure employer that invests in long-term relationships and systems that last over time

Responsibilities

In the role of Salesforce Developer & Administrator, you work close to the business to create value. Your main tasks include:

  • Taking practical overall responsibility for the Salesforce platform (approx. 80% of the time)
  • Developing and maintaining the system using Apex, SOQL, Flows, validation rules, and platform tools
  • Designing data models and building automations that reflect how the sales team actually works
  • Acting as a technical partner to the Product Owner and translating business needs into robust solutions
  • Maintaining existing Databricks notebooks and SQL logic to ensure data quality for Tableau (approx. 20% of the time)
  • Troubleshooting issues and collaborating on integrations and APIs

We are looking for someone who

  • Has several years of practical experience working with Salesforce (both administration and development)
  • Has strong practical experience with Salesforce Flows, Workflows, Apex, and SOQL
  • Is familiar with data modeling and administration in Salesforce
  • Has knowledge of Python and SQL (sufficient to understand and maintain existing code)
  • Can communicate effectively in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I)
  • Experience with API integrations or Salesforce Data Cloud

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

In this recruitment process, we place great importance on your personality. We believe that you, as an applicant, are a "hands-on" person who enjoys building and improving. You thrive working close to the business and have the ability to explain technical complexity in simple language. You are service-oriented and receptive, but also dare to question and suggest better long-term solutions. You are pragmatic and know when to invest time and when a simple solution is best.

Our recruitment process

This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position are sent to Academic Work.

We apply continuous selection and will remove the ad when a sufficient number of candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method, so one is not needed. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to help find the candidate with the highest potential for the role, as well as to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
