Restaurant Himlen is located on the 25th and 26th floors of Skrapan in the middle of Götgatan. Our ambition is to provide our guests with a holistic experience in an environment with a fantastic view and a relaxed southern vibe. Our two restaurants maintain high quality in both food and drink as well as service. The kitchen, with 46 seats, and Grill & Cocktail, with 60 seats and an additional 150 seats in the bar area, offer our guests exciting menus. As close to heaven as you can get! Welcome. We are looking for
We are looking for you who are service-minded, driven, and like to take responsibility. You are a person who motivates and engages your colleagues to gladly deliver a high level of service. You enjoy meeting guests and exceeding their expectations. Quality, experience, and good leadership are important parts of your work. We are looking for you who love the restaurant industry and are looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
As Head Waiter, you will partially be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, including personnel management, primarily when the main person in charge is absent. The role includes:
- Preparation work, leadership, delegation, and usual service tasks.
- Lead and distribute work in the dining room before, during, and after service.
- Maintain contact and follow up with guests on-site throughout their visit.
- Ensure that the dining room maintains a good flow and that the schedule is followed.
- Hold debriefings with your team before and after service.
We believe that you
- Have several years of experience from à la carte service.
- Have worked and thrive in a supervisory role and have a modern and inspiring leadership style.
- Have good knowledge of both food and drink.
- Have the ability to work according to given processes and solve the problems you face on your own.
- Have a structured way of working.
- Can communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
