Your main tasks will involve enabling residents to lead a meaningful life within a community setting. Using a pedagogical approach, you will base your support on the resident's individual needs and wishes, assisting them in their daily lives.

An important part of the role is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their skills and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards the goal of making each day meaningful and content-rich.

The LSS residence is a housing facility for adults. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a secure environment and continue our systematic improvement work, with responsibilities including implementation plans and documentation. This role is suitable for those who can work day shifts, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

You will work at several locations within the Disability Support department and during all hours of the day.

You will be employed on a flexible annual hour contract, allowing you to influence the scheduling of your working hours throughout the year.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in pedagogy, development, and communication. You likely have experience working with individuals within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) sector. It is an advantage if you are a trained support assistant or hold other relevant education/work experience that we consider equivalent.

Regardless of your background, you are driven by being a contributing factor to the development of people around you. You are often described as a secure person who is both respectful and empathetic. You are attentive, clear, and appreciate good collaboration. You are structured and find it easy to prioritize tasks.

Communication with residents, relatives, and colleagues is a major part of the assignment, so it is necessary that you have fluent command of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Working in the Staffing Pool requires you to be flexible, positive, and constructive, as well as enjoying variety and new challenges.

Since the work may occasionally involve shifts outside the town center, holding a valid Category B driver's license and having driving experience is a requirement.
