Agency-wide IT is responsible for a varied and complex technical landscape that supports the agency's common functions, such as finance, procurement, legal affairs, document management, HR, and communication. Through our products and building blocks, we contribute to increasing the agency's internal efficiency, with a focus on simplifying and improving things for all employees at the agency.

Job Description

As a Solution Architect, you have a key role in ensuring that our solutions are sustainable, scalable, and well-adapted to the business's needs. You are responsible for ensuring that development is carried out in line with target architecture and common architecture principles that support the agency's digital transformation.

For effective and conscious architecture governance, the Solution Architect needs to focus on standard solutions that span across several different systems and processes. You work closely with both the Domain Architect and several product teams, where you act as a bridge between business and technology. You contribute guidance, structure, and experience – while simultaneously supporting the teams in their daily work and the product's long-term development.

If you have broad experience in architecture work in large organizations and can translate business needs into IT solutions, then you are exactly who we are looking for.

Areas of Responsibility

• Design and define solution architecture within procurement and finance processes
• Ensure that solutions follow overarching architecture principles and target architecture
• Collaborate with the Domain Architect and other architecture roles
• Support and coach product teams in architecture questions and technical choices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of working methods, flows, and standardization
• Participate in roadmap work and strategic initiatives

What We Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The location is Solna.

Basic Requirements for the Position

• University degree of at least 180 hp (120 credits according to the old system) in systems science, or alternatively a university engineering or civil engineering degree in relevant areas, or equivalent competence/experience as assessed by the employer
• Several years of current work experience as a Solution Architect or in a corresponding role
• Good knowledge of standard processes within procurement and/or finance (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report)
• Experience with integration solutions in complex system environments
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Other Merits for the Position

• Experience with solution design in standard-based systems (COTS/SaaS) with a focus on stable and manageable solutions
• Good habit of collaborating with business, IT, and suppliers
• Knowledge of architecture governance and frameworks in practice
• Certified architecture education
