Do you want to help build the future solutions within the wood industry? INKAB is growing and is now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take a key role in our continued expansion. Here, you will work close to the technology, customers, and decision-making in a small, dynamic company with big ambitions.

 

About the role

As a Project Manager at INKAB, you are responsible for the entire project cycle from order to final delivery and commissioning at the customer's site. You drive projects forward with a focus on quality, time, and economy, acting as a central link between the customer, design, manufacturing, and assembly.

 

The role also includes:

  • Planning, driving, and following up on projects
  • Being responsible for customer dialogue and relationships throughout the project
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Following up on manufacturing, assembly, and installation
  • Planning and conducting tests, commissioning, and customer training
  • Ensuring documentation, quality, and risk management

 

The position is located in Hjo and covers daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with 1–2 travel days per week. You are offered an employment with INKAB starting immediately or as agreed.

 

Your profile

You have a good technical understanding, work in a structured manner, and are comfortable with significant personal responsibility. You take initiative, drive work forward, and have a natural ability to solve problems along the way. As a person, you are communicative and have a strong customer focus, while also thriving both working independently and in a team. In a smaller organization, you are flexible, unpretentious, and contribute where needed.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economics, Automation, or equivalent
  • Experience in project management within industry, mechanical engineering, or automation
  • Good technical understanding of machine systems and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in driving projects from start to finish

Project management certification (e.g., PMP or IPMA) and experience from the wood or process industry are meritorious. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

Experience with CE marking and related regulations is meritorious.
