About the role
As a Plumber / Service Technician at Rechon Life Science, you will play a central role in the operation, maintenance, and development of business-critical water systems in a GMP-regulated environment. The role entails overall technical responsibility for systems related to WFI (Water for Injection), purified water, and pure steam, with a focus on stable operation, high availability, and compliance with current regulations.
We see you as someone currently working as a plumber, pipefitter, or service technician with a strong foundation in water systems – and who wants to take the next step into a more advanced and regulated environment.
You will work closely with both internal functions and external suppliers and develop into a technical specialist in the field. In this role, you will also actively contribute to improvement initiatives and investment projects related to the systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and optimize water systems (WFI, purified water, pure steam)
- Ensure stable operation and high availability of the systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and work proactively
- Participate in planning and follow-up of maintenance
- Handle documentation, deviations, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with external suppliers and internal functions
- Support other technicians as needed
This is a direct hire position based in Malmö.
About you
We are looking for you who have experience working with water systems and want to develop further in a technically advanced environment.
You might currently work as a plumber, pipefitter, or service technician, preferably from environments where operation and function are critical, such as industry, hospitals, or other technical operations.
Experience with WFI, purified water, or pure steam is a plus – but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on your technical understanding and willingness to learn.
We would like you to have:
- Experience with plumbing systems or other technical water systems
- Experience from industry, real estate, or other technical environments
- Ability to work in a structured and systematic manner
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility, work methodically, and develop over time.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
