We have now completed the expansion of our 150 sqm workshop and need to expand our team with a person who will take overall responsibility for the department.

The Role

In the role of Department Manager for Forestry and Gardening, you are a vital cog in the machine as you are the company's face to our customers. You will have overall responsibility for the workshop and, together with the Store Manager, you will plan the daily operations for yourself and your six employees.

The tasks in the department involve repair and service of machinery within forestry and gardening, such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, etc. We have recently made a new investment with a person focusing on the sale of robot lawn mowers, so the installation of robot lawn mowers at customer locations during the season may also become part of your team's work.

Together with your employees, you will plan the purchase of machinery and spare parts, and you will monitor sales and profitability for the department. You will create and follow up on routines to increase efficiency (there are great opportunities with the new expanded workshop). The workload during the season can sometimes be high, but we help each other as we work as a team. Who are you?

You have high customer service skills, which is something we value highly. Perhaps you have experience from a workshop environment, perhaps as a customer receptionist in a car workshop, or have you been a foreman where you met end customers every day?

Delivering high quality, having the desire to make a customer happy, and being a problem solver are things you identify with. Furthermore, you have good cooperation skills, as we are a team that helps each other. You have a high sense of service and appreciate contact with people/customers. You are flexible, helpful, and can handle a certain workload during the season.
