Are you handy, technically interested, flexible, and thrive in physical work? Then you've hit the jackpot! VINAB in Kiruna is expanding our team and is now looking for another mechanic for both customer assignments within the industry and work in our own workshop.

About the role

As a mechanic, you will work with various mechanical assemblies and welding tasks both in the field and in our own workshop. You will work on diverse projects and become part of a competent and tightly knit team here in Kiruna. The role involves both independent work and collaboration with other colleagues.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality assignments to our customers.

Main responsibilities

• Mechanical work
• Assembly work
• Welding work
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Preventive maintenance

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a mechanic in the industry or similar fields
• Is solution-oriented and practical
• Thrives in both independent and team settings
• Has a valid Class B driver's license
• Communicates in Swedish
• Has welding skills

Merits if you

• Hold welding licenses 111, 136/138
• Have experience assembling and installing gearboxes and drive units
• Hold forklift and boom lift certifications
• Master additional languages such as English, Finnish, etc.
