About the role

In the role of Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating both customer projects and internal development initiatives related to a world-leading product within command support and monitoring systems. The projects range from international system integrations and long-term development projects to internal R&D initiatives and aftermarket work.

You will work closely with the development team and act as the link between operations, customers, and technical specialists. The role therefore requires good technical understanding and the ability to create structure, follow up on activities, and ensure that projects are conducted according to established processes for quality, traceability, and system development.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Lead and coordinate technical development and integration projects with international customers and partners
• Plan, follow up, and ensure delivery according to project plans, milestones, and development processes
• Work closely with the development team in sprint planning, prioritization, and follow-up in Jira
• Ensure that software and system development processes are followed and contribute to improving working methods and project management
• Handle financial follow-up, resource planning, and reporting to the steering group
• Coordinate activities with other internal projects and external collaboration partners
• Drive internal R&D projects where new features and improvements are developed for the product
• Follow up on verification, testing, and requirement management throughout the entire development cycle

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of project management in process-driven operations, for example in the space, defense, or automotive industries. Areas such as banking/financial institutions, medtech, and government agencies are also of interest.
• Documented experience of driving projects in environments where quality, traceability, and risk management are central
• Experience working with complex technical deliveries where high quality is prioritized over project margin
• Experience with established project management methodologies and structured development processes
• Good technical understanding and ability to collaborate closely with the development team
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship

Since this position is located in security-classified operations, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance to be able to assume the position.
