As a welder at our client's site in Västerås, you will become an important part of the production where precision, technical knowledge, and teamwork are highly valued. The role involves working with various welding methods and ensuring that products meet given drawings and quality requirements.

We are currently seeking welders for assignments via Lernia in Västerås. This role is suitable for you who want to work practically in a production environment and contribute to an efficient manufacturing process. You will be part of a team where you jointly ensure that products are manufactured with the right quality and delivery security.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, and detailed plans to determine the appropriate welding process
• Performing welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Inspecting and testing welded joints to ensure quality and specifications
• Collaborating with the team to complete projects on time and to the highest standard
• Following safety procedures and contributing to a safe working environment

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically interested, and thrives in a practical role. You work well in a team while also being able to take individual responsibility for your tasks. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to improvements in production are advantageous.

• Experience in welding (MIG/MAG and TIG)
• Valid welding certificates for 136 and 138 are meritorious
• Forklift and crane certificates
• Mobility platforms (MEWPs)
• Ability to read drawings
• Basic knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
