Linjemontage is a modern company within the electric power industry that performs contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can range from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, deliveries of power lines, to the replacement of parts of systems such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include, among others, electricity network owners, industries, municipal and state administrations. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have just over 400 employees. We are now looking for a Project Controller who wants to contribute to good financial management and profitable projects in a business with high project intensity. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, operations, and management, becoming a key part of creating structure, analysis, and business acumen throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Here you will have the opportunity to combine analysis, collaboration, and operational understanding in a role where you work both operationally and contribute to the development of working methods and processes.

Responsibilities

As a Project Controller, you are responsible for financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting in our projects. You work closely with project managers and support them with questions related to budgets, forecasts, cost monitoring, and financial variances.

You are involved in the various phases of the projects and contribute to creating realistic calculations, monitoring the financial development of the projects, and ensuring quality in decision-making materials and reporting. Through analysis and ongoing monitoring, you help the business identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

The role also includes:

Preparing forecasts and analyses related to project finances
Monitoring project results and identifying variances
Participating in monthly closing and ensuring correct project reporting
Supporting project managers with financial questions and monitoring
Contributing to the development of processes, routines, and working methods within project management and monitoring
Ensuring quality and transparency in reporting to management and other stakeholders

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education in economics, industrial economics, or equivalent, as well as experience in controlling, project monitoring, or financial management, preferably from project-oriented operations.

You have an interest in analysis and business acumen and thrive in a role where you get to collaborate with different parts of the business. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to create order and understanding in complex information.

We would like you to have:

Good knowledge of Excel
Experience with business and/or project systems, preferably SAP
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
An analytical and solution-oriented approach to work
Good communication skills and ease of collaboration
