About the role

Our goal at Åhléns is to be an experience-driven destination that makes a difference for the customer. Even though we have been around for over 125 years, more is happening at Åhléns than ever before. We want to invest in physical retail and are opening a new department store in Ingelsta Shopping! We are now looking for several Sales Associates with the mission to contribute to sales through active customer contact and offer service that exceeds customer expectations. You meet people every day and help create a customer experience that makes a difference! You will join during a new establishment and may help build up the department store.

Examples of tasks:

• Selling through active customer contact in accordance with Åhléns service concept.
• Actively working with upselling through competitions and campaigns.
• Ensuring an inspiring and sales-oriented department store environment that creates the best customer experience.

You will become part of a passionate team and work closely with other roles in the department store, such as Visual Merchandiser, Stock Picker, Department Manager, Sales Manager, or Store Manager.

About the recruitment

We are looking for several Sales Associates in varying hours from 3 to 28 hours/week for all our departments – Beauty, Fashion, and Home. We offer a permanent position with an initial probationary period, and you will work according to a schedule that extends over weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Working hours may vary between 08:00–19:00. As the department store is planned to open at the end of August, we would prefer that you can start with us on August 4th.
