About your role

As Store Manager at Åhléns, you are responsible for driving sales and creating profitability in your store, as well as ensuring that campaigns and activities are carried out with high quality. You are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive a good customer experience and are met by engaged and service-oriented Sales Associates with good product knowledge.

Key responsibilities in the role of Store Manager include:

• Being an ambassador and creating the best customer experience in your store

• Developing a well-functioning team that is passionate about Åhléns and sales through coaching and visible leadership

• Delivering results in line with the store's goals and key figures based on business acumen

• Actively participating in, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating relevant information to employees within the store

• Being responsible for safety and working environment issues in the store

• Working in accordance with Åhléns' sustainability goals

You work towards annual, monthly, and daily goals for sales and customer satisfaction, and you convene and lead workplace meetings, sales planning, and union collaboration.

In the store, you become part of a passionate team of Sales Associates, Sales Leaders, and Visual Merchandisers. In addition to the store employees, you also have an HR Partner and a Regional Manager as your closest support and manager.

What you bring to us:

• At least a few years of experience in a leadership position in sales, preferably within retail

• Documented successful experience in leading other employees and developing teams

• Experience in driving work towards set goals with good results

About the recruitment process

The position is a full-time fixed-term contract of 38 hours/week, starting in early August until July 2027.
