We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Central Kalmar.

Who am I, looking for you as a personal assistant?

I am a 28-year-old guy, wheelchair user, who studied IT at Linnaeus University in Kalmar and now work in technical customer support. I live in my own apartment in central Kalmar.

In my spare time, I play wheelchair floorball, go to the gym, play video games, engage in various social issues and associations that interest me, and travel to various destinations.

As an assistant, you are expected to accompany me in whatever I wish to do; your workplace is wherever I am, whether at home, at work, or during leisure activities.

I need help with, among other things, toilet visits, transfers, and dressing/undressing.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are engaged, respectful, and perceptive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. You should be perceptive, have a sense of order and tidiness, be confident in yourself, and have a sparkle in your eye.

We would appreciate it if you have previous experience working as a personal assistant, or alternatively, other experience within care and social services. Personal suitability is of great importance.

We are looking for both women and men.

We would appreciate it if, in addition to the above:

  • You have a genuine interest in helping others.
  • You are a non-smoker.
  • You can understand and communicate in Swedish.
  • You can work flexible hours - day, evening, weekend, and night.

Other information

Employment type: Fixed-term employment or as-needed employment

Scope: Fixed-term employment one night per week plus extra as needed, with the possibility to work more during the summer, as well as as-needed employment to cover shifts, with the possibility of fixed hours during the summer of 2026.

Working hours: Daytime usually between 07:30-19:00, night usually between 19:00-07:30

Start date: 2026-06-01, training may start earlier.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

An extract from the criminal record will be submitted in connection with the interview.

In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
