About the Role

At Tracon, we are currently looking for Mechanical Design Engineers for upcoming consulting assignments within sectors such as energy, automotive, product development, and manufacturing. We always match assignments to your interests, goals, and strengths.

The tasks vary depending on the assignment but may include, among other things:

• Design of mechanical systems and components
• 3D Modeling in CAD (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Catia)
• FEA analyses: structural analyses, strength calculations, and tolerance studies
• Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues across multiple disciplines

What we are looking for:

• A completed university degree or civil engineering education in mechanical engineering or a similar field or alternatively at least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Good knowledge of 3D CAD (e.g., Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks)

Desirable competencies:

• Previous professional experience in mechanical design
• Previous experience within the railway industry
