At Tres technical department, we have approximately 300 employees. Here you will find the Product & Order Management (POM) team, which builds and maintains a shared backend for customer order and product services – services that other channels and teams rely on in their customer flows.

We are now looking for an experienced Java backend developer. This role is perfect for you if you want to take technical responsibility, build stable and long-term backend solutions, and use AI support as a natural part of your development work.

About the role

As an experienced backend developer, you work end-to-end with the backend services – from API design and implementation to deployment, operability, and monitoring in production. You contribute to making our services robust, scalable, and clearly designed for reusability, as POM acts as the common backend for order and product services.

A key part of the role is working in an AI-driven manner. You fully utilize tools such as GitHub Copilot and other AI support to write, improve, and quality-assure code, make technical decisions faster, and increase both productivity and code quality. In your daily work, you operate in modern development environments like IntelliJ and VS Code, where efficient developer workflows and good tool support are a given.

You work together with the team's developers and in close collaboration with Business Analysts and QA, meaning you are involved throughout the entire process from requirements and analysis to testing, release, and production monitoring. You have a clear backend focus but often collaborate across interfaces and integrations, as the solutions you build are consumed by multiple teams and channels with high demands for stability and clear contracts.

You can look forward to

• developing and further developing backend services in Java using Spring Boot and Maven, as well as designing REST and GraphQL APIs for business- and customer-critical flows

About you

To succeed in this role, you have several years of experience as a Java developer with a clear backend focus and are comfortable working in modern, production-proximity environments. You have good experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Maven, work comfortably with Git, REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases, and have experience with container orchestration environments. You have a DevOps mindset and are comfortable with CI/CD, operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

You are engaged and proactive, motivated by finding smarter and more efficient ways to work. The role involves close collaboration with both colleagues and the business, making you communicative and confident in dialogue in both Swedish and English. Experience with TM Forum standards is considered an asset, but it is not a requirement.
