We are currently seeking 1-2 women who wish to work as personal assistants. The available shifts are between 07:00-17:00 or 17:00-23:00, with potential night shifts. This is a substitute position covering annual leave in July/August or sickness absence for permanent staff.

You will work as a personal assistant to a woman who manages her own daily life. She has a physical disability but controls her own assistance. The support needed includes dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, household chores, and other related tasks. As you will assist with transfers to and from the wheelchair, physical strength is an advantage. Lifts are used for some transfers.

Experience with horses and dogs is desirable, as part of the role involves animal-related chores together with the client. You must have a valid driver's license and access to a car, as the client lives 2.5 miles east of Hudiksvall. You will also drive the client in her own car when needed.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking woman with a good sense of humor. You should have a genuine commitment to helping people, making you sensitive to the client's various needs and able to adapt to working within a family context.

Personal assistance is a service and care profession that places high demands on personal qualities. Working hours vary between 07:00-17:00, 17:00-22:00/23:00, and potentially nights. It is important that you are available to answer the phone early in the morning to start work at 07:00. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, so we recommend applying early rather than waiting until the last day.
