About Us

Peder & co is located just outside Gekås in Ullared, Sweden's largest visitor attraction. We offer a welcoming atmosphere and serve high-quality restaurant food with a twist – here you will find both classic dishes and exciting game elements on the menu, which vary depending on the season. Our goal is to provide our guests with an extraordinary taste experience, whether they are on their way to Gekås or looking for a really good dinner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and quality in all tasks.
• Responsible for menu planning and recipe development, focusing on seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.
• Monitor and ensure that hygiene and safety regulations are followed in the workplace.
• Budget responsibility and management of costs for food purchases and inventory.
• Train and inspire staff, creating a positive and developmental work environment.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management to achieve common goals.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership position within the restaurant industry.
• Is creative and has a passion for creating new and exciting dishes.
• Is structured, has good organizational skills, and can work efficiently under pressure.
• Has strong leadership skills and can motivate and develop your team.
• Has good knowledge of food handling and follows hygiene and safety regulations.
• Is flexible and has the ability to adapt to changes in workload and season.
