Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for new colleagues to join our team at Skålmogården.

As a care assistant, you work with care and support tasks for the residents every day. We also work on operational development, for example, through quality councils and activity councils.

Your assignment involves making every day as good as possible for those who live with us as well as for your colleagues. We are each other's work environment in our residents' homes.

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly care, where your main tasks are to design safe and secure personal care and support. You support the elderly in their daily lives and create conditions for a secure and meaningful everyday life. As a care assistant, you are responsible for providing users with good, high-quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed upon with the user in the implementation plan.

This includes among other things:

• Personal care and support.
• Utilizing the user's own resources.
• Activation and social interaction with users, as well as outdoor activities.
• Serving meals.
• Laundry and cleaning in the user's apartment.
• Documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL).
• Delegation of medication.
• Collaboration with nurses (e.g., during wound dressing changes).

Qualifications

You have a care assistant education or other equivalent education or experience. We consider it meritorious if you have previous experience working in similar operations. In addition, it is important that you can handle digital medical record systems and that you have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Further education in areas such as dementia care, palliative care, or care for the multi-sick elderly is meritorious.

To thrive here, it is a prerequisite that you enjoy working with people. The position requires that you can independently plan your work to meet the needs of our residents. We are looking for you who have a professional approach characterized by good treatment and respect for the individual. The job requires flexibility, initiative, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities.
