ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at 80–100% for our client in Härnösand.

The working hours are 24-hour shifts, which means:

• 11:00 AM – 11:00 AM (with a 6-hour break/wait time)

Start date is by agreement.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 60s. He is interested in sports shown on TV and enjoys being outdoors in nature.

The duties include:

• Transfers, assistance with personal hygiene, and dressing/undressing.

• Regular household chores.

• Exercise and accompaniment.

The client uses a shower chair and a manual wheelchair.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal car (the client lives just outside Härnösand).

• Non-smoker.

• Experience in healthcare/caregiving.

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in personal assistance is preferred.

Employment level: 80–100%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of conduct (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of conduct from the Swedish Tax Agency’s website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority’s e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
